4.10 motive gears

Default 4.10 motive gears

thinking of getting them in the gt. its an auto, would it make a world of a diff going from 3.27s to 4.10s? i just need feedback

yes it would be a good jump! thats what i have in my ride now 4:10 motives with the bearing kit...important tho when tightening the ring gear down to the carrier..use better lock tite than what they give u and give the locktite time to dry after u torqued the ring gear down bc if u dont and u get it togeather and fill with oil the locktite wont dry and u could have ring gear bolts back out on u...happened to me...just thought id share...but as of now its running strong and good!

probably, but alot of people claim its better to go with the 3:90s in autos and 4:10s in manual. Either way you'll love it. In an auto though, i'd prolly gowith the 3:90s. just my .02

But would it be a decent jump to go from 3.27 to 3.90??? i was looking at the 3.90's because its lower than the 3.73's and not quite as low as the 4.10's. anyone have any feedback for that one???

love my 4.10 motives and never had a problem with the ring gear bolts.

I always here 3.73 in manuals and 4:10 for autos.
