Default Making my gt faster on a limited budget

So i just got a gt and dont know much bout whats been down to it beside the motor was rebuilt like 5 months agobecasue it had no oil in it and sat their for awhile soi have awarrnty on the motor. All ive put in it its a K&N air filter and im lowering the suspesion next week

I know the stock speed of gts are around like 140 but ive definitly already hit 150 in her and my rpm was still like a grand away from redlining before i had to slow down

so im wondering what i can add to it to make it faster...I dont really have much money but ill be saving up...so if anybody can tell me a list of things that are afforadable and make a good imporvement let me know

I was thinkin bout getting a chip in it after i lower it too

get a programmer not a chip and a set of gears, long tube headers,x pipe, cat back exaust, throttle body and plenum, underdrive pulleys or spend the money and buy a supercharger.

BTW your title is kinda an oxymoron. GT's will go faster, but deff not on a budget haha.

It takes some serious cash to get a GT to its potential. Really

It really doesn't take that much. Nitrous can give you a good boost in HP without spending an arm and a leg.
