Well to chime in on the high mileage, my dad sells toyotas and he sold a toyota to a guy back in like 93, and he now has almost 1,000,000 miles on it. he plans to hit it this year.

 

I blew a head gasket at 156,000, tore it down for an overhaul and everything still looked good. Depends on how its been taken care of.

 

at 160K my valve guides started going bad and i did a PI swap. Im at about 175 now with the stock bottom end.

 

mines got a 103k and is running like a freakin champ. The transmission is the only thing thats worrying me at all. I'm plannin on keepin it for about 3 years then I'll be making a decision on the car/engine. Hopefully nothing will go wrong with it by then. I dont go more than 10k a year.

 

ive seen a taxi with close to 500,000k

 

150+ on the body, roughly 130k in the motor. 4.10's t/b plenum intake bottle,still runs strong.

 

Off topic but i saw in the news a while back a 91 silverado hit 1 million miles. It was driven by some old man. They said chevy might buy it from him
