i m thinking about buying long headers now ill spend about 800 to get them and put them on is it going to be worth it? im trying to reach 300 HP im at 265 whats can i do besides turbo and super charger

Headers are just like anything else on these with the exception of FI in that you get little gains for big $$. You gotta pay to play. I would recommend some headers and then a nitrous kit. 300whp is going to take cams and headers for sure and that would be close. You may have to get some headwork done as well.

Just like humans, when you breathe better you run better. But it's not the only thing that counts. I've had good luck installing Mac and BBK with 3650's and t45's. TKO's on the other hand are a pain in the butt. Kooks is the best and the best "known" brand. 1slo85 has had them I believe and liked them. They are among the higher priced ones though.

Cams are a great idea like they have said. Both will take about the same amount of time to install. cams themselves are cheaper but if you pay someone to install them you'll have about the same as the headers into them. And don't forget the lil extra rumble they give you.

not a huge increase though, dont know if they arereally worth $800 with the mods you have IMO.I dont have a gt sosteve might be right, just always heard that its more of a sound increase than power. Totally agree with the cams though and it being hard to reach 300rwhp on a tight budget without a bottle. Tons of things you can do with $800 that might produce better results

I think he was referring to 300 crank hp, if you notice his sig and the fact that he said he's at 265hp, I don't think he means rwhp. 300 crank hp you can do if you just to all bolt-ons you'll be right there, maybe a little over.
