aftermarket fiberglass hood without pins is asking for trouble. i would seriously consider it.

It would be good cheap insurance. I would never trust the latch on an aftermarket hood.

I have the cervinis ram air hood, if your latch isnt adjusted perfectly it pops up an inch or 2 at highway speeds, but still is caught by the hood release. Not the must fun expierence.

You can always get the ones that are more flush to the hood and use a key to open them. They have some really nice ones on the new GT-500 KR.
