If I get gears first off I know that I need the install kit but on Americanmuscle there are 2 kits....the one with the bearings and the one without. The one without is much cheaper so my question is, do I need the intsall kit with the bearings or would I be fine with the normal, cheaper kit?

 

You only really need the axle bearings if you are gonna swap out the differential, still not a bad idea to do

 

Spend the extra money and get the master bearing kit to be on the safe side.

Get the bearing kit and might as well get a clutch pack.
