Default Cannot decide on a supercharger!!

I have been reading hundreds of forums about superchargers and i can't seem to get out which one is better. In the end of each forum it seems that each comes out to be even. It is between procharger P-1SC, procharger D-1SC, or a vortech for my 97gt. Like i said, i have read a countless number of forums on this topic and i need to choose one. I plan on getting heads, cams, and forged internals with dished pistons as well.

Thanks,
Mike

what kinda power are you looking to push? that should be the first factor in your decision. i see you've already narrowed it down to a centri-style blower though??

if you're going forged internals with the different heads and (blower)cams, i'd get the d-series from procharger, and crank that baby up

I'd get the D-1sc or a Vortech t-trim. Both will get you into the power range your looking for especially with a good set of blower cams, ported heads and forged internals. Exactly how much power you'll run depends on how much pressure you'll be pushing on the supercharged and of course your tune.

+1, boost it up. While your at it, you might wanna beef up the rest of your drive train.

A P-1SC is just fine for anyone running stock internals, if your willing to upgrade those maybe a D-1SC. Theres only a 100hp rated difference between the two.

They are both rated to support about the same HP. But at higher boost levels, the D-1sc will be much more efficient. You will net more HP with the D-1sc at higher pressure.
