just make a bracket to hold the pipe or catback up to the car. could probably have a muffler shop do something for you for like 20-30 bucks.

BBK x pipes have horrible ball flanges and they dont seal worth a crap. so you have to weld the actual flange that you put the bolts through to the x pipe back a little bit back from where the actual bulge is. and you should not have any more problems. had to do it to a friends BBK x pipe and sealed right up with no further problems...or we just can hear the leak over the SLP LM1's. I think you're talking about the manifold - midpipe joint... [&:] I'm 100% postive that welding is not required, as I have had a bbk x pipe and magnaflows on my car with no leaks, and I never had to weld anything. I did have to have the studs on the driver's side manifold changed out, because the factory studs had a flange on them that prevented the pipe from tightening up and making a good seal on the manifold. I never had any problems getting the catback-midpipe joint to seal.

join the club man I had the same X but mine had the 2high flow cats with it.It sucked getting ittightend every other week. Solution BASSANI. I might get ripped for this But BBK sucks ive come to notice that their products fall short on quality They are alot cheaper than the competition for a reason. So far when i go to a performance shop/ garage to get a new mod put in I ask them what they think about BBK & they tell me not to got with them. especially their exhaust products.... Just my opinion & the opinion of the shop experts
