Default stupid question

Will 4.6 2v heads fit 5.4 2v block...came across a good deal on a 5.4 forged shortblock. Could I use my heads, intake, computer harnesses and all. Would the timing cover have to be for a 5.4.

Not sure, but I thinkthe 2V heads are the same, and the intake can be used if you buy the adapter plates (Reichard Racing makes them, I believe) and you'll need a 5.4 timing cover. As for the rest, I have no idea.

yes they will fit. They are the same heads that ore on the lightnings. You won't get much power out of stock 2v heads on a 5.4 block becaue they dont breath enough. You will have to use the 5.4 timing cover and your tranny will fit fine. You can also use your flexplate and crank pulley.
