Ok soi feel like ive been burning tons and tons of gas... I filled it up today, reset the trip.. tn i got home i used a tad bit more then a quarter of a tank, and ive only driven 33 miles.. Half were highway!!... that cant be right!!.. whats wrong

Excessive idling or Revving at cute girls maybe the use of a/c?

 

We all can relate with ya. I definately can b/c driving a Mach requires the expensive stuff. Not a pro or anything, but what helps me is shifting typically around 1800 in normal driving, accelerating easy, and always using cruise control. My Mach's 5th gear is higher than a GTs, but your 4.10s shouldn't hurt you more than a decrease of 3mpg unless you are doin 75 on the highway all the time. Keep your tires @ 40psi for gas mileage. Also, your air/fuel is very much different now than it was before your mods, have your car dyno tuned with your mods in place to get the most punch out of eachdrop of petrol. Hope I helped a little. religiously every 3000 miles

 

gears killing gas mileage like that is a fiction. unless your constantly getting on it or driving at 4 grand. id do a tuneup just to be on the safeside and if your not lazy take hte injectors and clean them.
