Default Professional Help

Getting a 2000 GTautomatic Will have about 2k to play with. What should i invest in? What motor upgrades should i go with? And can I get 300Hp with 2k in upgrades?? Thanks for the help.

the only way to get to 300 with 2k is if you spray it... i would do gears, midpipe and catback i would spray also, but some are against that.. and lower that thing so it doesnt look like a monster truck

Used wet nitrous kit(75-100 shot), 3.73 gears, mid pipe+catback(for the sound mostly) and some drag radials.

yea, go with the nitrous if you dont care about messing up your sh*t, or taking the chances then nitrous would be right for you if not then look into maybe some cams or heads will get you where you want to be but i personally would reccommend not spraying, too many horror stories around here

lol, never consider money sent of your car an investment, just consider it money spent. N2O will get you 300+ hp for less than $2k

wtf, if you do nitrous right you can have great success. Cams and heads will cost more than nitrous and net you less power... (I'm not against cams or heads but N2O is better)

Without Nitrous, it's cheaper to make 400 than 300. Supercharge it.
