hey guys i just ordered a vinyl tinting kit and got it in the mail today... i was just out prepping my mustang and put the first on on and i absolutely hated it! i bought the 35% and i have a white car and i think it looked like ****.. any suggestions?

 

What about it did you not like? And what was the tint for? Windows? Headlight, Taillights?

 

sorry it was my tailights, i have 5% tint on my windows, and i think the tint looked like crap possibly because it was not dark enough, but it just looked like it didn't fit my car but i hate the red tailights

 

tint them yourself with vht nite shades...its easier and you control how dark you want them...i will make a vid soon on how to do it...

 

i like VHT niteshade, but for some reason it faded when i had it on my sixer.. it looked professional though. but its hard to stop it from dripping and getting it completely evenly dispersed amongst the tail lights.. tint seems to be the way to go. dont go the cheap way for one and either get them done professionally, or buy some tint overlays from autobadges/stangmods

 

I think it would look better if you blacked out the panel betweenthe taillights

 

well hopefully i will be getting a cobra (check out nice cobra? thread) and won't have to worry about it... man was i disappointed though

 

hmm idk man, i put smoked tint on my car and love it. i guess your only option is darker?
