Withmy cobra motor when im hammering it I average about 14. Automatics get more parasitic loss so they ave a little less HP and a little worse fuel economy but 10-12 sounds pretty low. Tune up time. Fuel injection cleaner /sea foam ,Oil change sparkplugs, all the filters you know the works. Try and put a k@n air filter.

10 mpg sounds way low to me. I'm a loser and keep track of my miles per gallon every time I fill up. So far this year i've averaged 18.99 mpg. That's with stock gearing and probably a 70-30 split between city and highway driving. On one tank of gas in which I drove almost exclusively on the highway, I made 21.05 mpg. Yeah, I know i'm a loser for keeping track lol

On the highway I get about 24 mpg but around town I get about 12-13 mpg. A lot of it depends on the gas you put in as well. The winter blends can contain as much as 10% ethanol and that negatively affects mileage since the engine has a tougher time fully combusting the air/fuel mixture. So it takes that much more fuel to do the same amount of work because ethanol contains less chemical potential energy than gasoline. Sure it's cleaner but it sucks for mileage and power. I bet you'll see a modestincrease in mileage when the spring/summer blends start hitting the pump.
