flowmaster 40's
i was wonderin which would be better to get 2 or 3 chambered. on steeda it says the 3 is deep and throaty without being too loud. i want loud and deep. i think the stock is pretty loud so will the 3 chambered be louder than that and at the same time deeper?
thanks

Actually, I thought the 2 1/4" vs 2 1/2" was already debated once by CobraGT and it turned out he had 2 1/2" stock, but it's been while. Just order the 2 1/2" mufflers and if it's too big they can easily make a slip joint and slide your existing pipe inside. If you get a chambered muffler, though, I would highly recommend getting the least amount of chambers that will give you the sound you like. More chambers = More exhaust restriction (not a good thing).
ok that sounds good. im just really curious, will buying flowmaster 40s really have a big affecct on the sound of my car. will i be able to tell that its louder and deeper. i dont wanna spend money on them if there is rele no difference

Yes it will especially if you have the opportunity to remove the catalytic converters also, unless law requires you to keep them. The power gained will be very little, but it'll give you a great sound.
I have 2 chambers with a bbk off road H.. first clip is from in the car second one is an outside clip.. hope this helps
