Default SLP EXHAUST

I was wanting to put SLP Loudmouth 1s on my 1997 Cobra. I ran into some questions though. I saw these on americanmusctle.com.... http://www.americanmuscle.com/slpexhaust1.html

I also saw these on ebay for alot cheaper.

I need to know why one is way more expensive? Also if I go with the americanmusctle one what else do I need. Or is that it?

Thank you very much I want it so sound awesome.

Oh boy lol, well the one from AmericanMuscle is an actual exhaust system, with largerpiping for performanceso all you need to do is bolt it onto your car. You will not need anything else except the tools to install. What you see on eBay is just the resonators, so you would either need to get a shop to do custom piping with the resonators which means more moneyor have them welded in to your stock pipes.

So I think it would be a better idea to just go with the full exhaust then. So you are saying I could buy the one from AmericanMuscle and thats all I need? Just bolt on and I'm ready to go? I don't have much experience with this subject. Thanks for replying some people never reply on this forum for some reason. Does that seem like a good deal for the entire thing?

Thanks for the reply...How much does a upr o/r x pipe cost and where can you get it? Also I thought o/r meant you had to have no cats? I may be wrong. If so what does it mean? I know it means off road but what does it really imply? I really like it to be loud, so thats not a problem. I have a 97 Cobra so it should should Awesome.

Nope not a joke, its another forum I post on and theres a guy that posts there with the same name as you, MMAFan.

And off road does indeed mean no cats, I wouldnt recommend an ORX unless you have chambered mufflers. Its extremly loud and some feel its much too raspy for a mustang. So if you want to go the off road x pipe route look into the SLP loudmouth 2's instead of loudmouth 1's.
