Default mickeys vs bfgs

just sold my weld pro stars along with my mickey thompson tires. i still plan to run my car at the track but dont want to buy another set of pro stars down the road. if i were to put osme bfgs on my regular rims would they still hook as good as the mickeys did? i would put mickeys on but i think they are ugly. could i still pull some 1.7 or 1.8 60s with my regular rims and bfgs?

I'm planning on running either the ET street radials or KDW2's out back on 10" rims. Can't decide either lol.

I have 275/35/18 BFG KDWs on my car. I love them. The right is a little rough but its a sports car.

I have the 315/35/17 MT drag radials on mine. The first pass with them at 12 lbs it went a 1.65 60 ft.
