Default mach audio help

i went to insert a cd the other day when i took the stang out of the garage and the cd spot where you inject the cd just basically stayed open and wont close. I cant put cds in or take them out or listen to any already in there. The only thing that happens is it says CD ERROR. What is going on?

Take a CD you don't care for and see if you can push the jammed cd in a little. The cd player will take it in or push it out. This is what I had to do with my GT and Cobra.

Sometimes the radio's can get off track but normally by that time they are toast anyway. Either replace it with an aftermarket or take it to a Ford delership and see if they can send it out for servicing. If all else fails buy a new one from ford. But that is of course more money than an aftermarket.
