i still dont understand the diff. between these blue lights....i saw a mustang today with them...i know its prob. a newb question but just want the best and cheapest way to get them...even though best and cheap never go together...

well i see some hid kits for over 150 bucks and then i see bulbs that are like 15... whats the diff....

 

bulbs are bulbs, kits are kits

 

will it look the same?

 

no the bulbs will just make it a blue color, the kit is going to be alot brighter, don't do the bulbs it will make it look gay, spend the money and get the kit

 

you can put blue tint over ur bulbs[:-]

 

the blue bulbs are just cheesy ricer bulbs.

the lights are called HID's. the bulbs are cheap for that, makes your lights ALOT brighter, blinds the **** out of oncomming traffic (i hat epeople with bright lights), etc...

they dont look the same but you can try it i guess. i personally think its a waste of 40 bucks

HID KITS are gas inside the bulbs as opposed to what you have now with a wire in the bulb...the blue bulbs for cheap are just dumb and have a blue film....HID kits are the way to go, you can get em cheap now off beay for liek $50 for a kit
