i seen magazines with stangs that pull out like 800-900 hp and do quarter miles in like 6-7 seconds

then i see amagazinewit brand new z06 that said smoke em cuz you definitly caught and said 7.0 liters 0-60 in 3.7 and tops out at 198

so im wondering if money wasnt much of an issue how much would it cost to get a stang hitting 200mph+ over 1000 hp, 0-60 in 3.5 and the capabilty to pull a quauter mile in under 10 seconds

and im guessing it would be the best if it was done with a corbra or gt 500

imput please

and remember im most interested in how much it would cost to do the work with parts and labor

and for those of you that have pretty good stats like 500 hp and 10 second quarters let me know how much youd be willing to sell your car for

You are acting like it is as simple as do a few things and BAM 1000hp.

FIrst off... Dont worry about buying someone elses monster if you dont have the knowledge or pockets to take care of it.

If cars like you speak of were that simple to create then..... everyone would have one?

To make a car even reach 500rwhp it takes hard work and know how. If you are wanting to do stuff like 1000rwhp+ in a mustang you are basicly going to be stripping it of the motor, rear, transmission, EVERYTHING and starting from scratch.

just throw a supercharger on you car. push around 375rwhp 400tq and get a great suspension set up and you will be very happy.. you dont need all that horsepower. especially considering you seem to be clueless and you are probably young like me

Ive personally seen a certain someones modded cobra running 15x in straightways @ willowsprings track, its not exactly meant for top end speed but its got the suspension that certainly matches or even out does a corvette.
One of my books called BUILDING A 4.6 AND 5.4, ATI does a crazy supercharger set up with a massive centri. and insane intercooler, im pretty sure the S/C system alone costs around 15,000 the engine they used was a 5.4 block, i believe it was a 4v but dont quote me on it will heads, cams, FAST system and some other goodies; on the engine dyno is pulled like 1250 hp and like 1000 lbs tq but the HP was wayyy high in the powerband like around 6-7k rpm range.
im pretty sure this set up would not last DD on the street BUT to answer your question...

to hit 200 MPH you need very low drag and good aerodynamics as well as an intense ammount of downforce so the car can steer when your going at that speed.

to hit a 3.7 0-60 you need either an intense AWD system with alot of TQ or a RWD system with big fat sticky tires, fully prepped suspension and a lightweight body probably 2400-2700 pounds max.

to go 1/4 in under 10 seconds again youd need a fully prepped race suspension, sticky tires and some very steep gears

the problem with all this is while the gearing helps you go quick in the quarter it will limit your top limit which is where you need to make up with it with an over drive 6th gear that will be able to still make power.

As fast as you want it to be? If your going over 600 hp your gonna need to probably redo everything if your doing it in a GT.
