I was wanting to know what else there is to get for more power without steping up to building the motor and blowers justyet. What bolt-ons are left to do?

 

gears and eletric water pump. buy the water pump from brenspeed cheaper and comes with relay.

I have never taken my car to the track, but it will be soon. OK, motor i probably run mid 13s on Nitrous with a 125shot mid 12s.

The eletric water pump has been proven to put down 11-15 more rwhp. I just installed it this weekend with my brother (he knew how to wire in the relay) but very impressed, its very quit and smooth.

 

correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't the electric water pump just remove another pulley to gain the extra few horses?

I plan on mainly running on the track and street. Is the relay wiring a pain or can it be done easliy. Keep the ideas coming guys.

 

i would get gears. I know theres a thermostat they sell tht opens at a lower temp to keep the motor cooler. Theres not much else thats really gonna do anything tho. You could just start making youre car lighter or upgrade the suspension but thts not wat ur asking about so nvrmind.

 

You're right. It doesn't add any power. The stock water pump that's driven by the engine takes up HP, and replacing that with an electric one takes away that load on the engine and sends more power to the wheels instead. It's the same thing as an A/C delete.
