HELP!!!!! front hub assembly
i am about to put on some 18x9 saleens and on the front the center cap will not go on all the way because of that black **** in the center can that be bent in and still be alright

It looks like it is plastic and wont do much bending. It is mainly a dust cap to keep the lube from getting contaminated. I would take it off, test fit the rims, and if thats all thats in your way, look for some other sort of metal cap that you could replace it with and bend and shape as necessary.
Or.. get some spacers, probably less than a 1/4 inch thick, and it could do the same without having to bend stuff.

i can get different wheels than these but they are on a national back order through discount tire and i have not paid for them yet so
the other store in town already had them that is why i am trying these before i go and order differnent ones

they are metal wheel bearing caps with a rubberized coat, you can either pound them in a little if it is just a clearance issue, or go down to the local parts store and get a generic cap that is the same diameter ( take old one with you and match up size)
