what voids warranty
lol..ive only had it for like 3 weeks...and the transmissions acting weird so i havent really been beating on it too much...i took it down there and they went for a ride with me but it had started raining so it was hard to hear the noises it was making and they told me to bring it back on a dry day. they were also supposed to make an appointment to fix my leather..never happened...i filied a complaint with the better business bureau and attorney general in maryland because they told me time and time again they would call me back and let me know and never do. They also lied to me an told me I was the 2nd owner when im actually the 3rd and a bunch of other crap that im not getting into...so the point is im not doing any mods until i hear from the attorney general and get the money they owe me for some other crap and get my transmission checked out and see if its a problem or just the usual mustang transmission slop
if you have a warranty book its in the back its called the maggnisen act which basically means that the part that you put in was the problem and the dealer needs to prove it to
you shouldnt have any problems with the gears unless like some one said you brake an axle but even then i dont think they would know Cai again no problem maybe they might give you **** for the TB/Plenum...also you can do exhaust with no problems

it doesnt have that act in it..but it does have a list of stuff they arent responsible for and the 2 that have to do with this are:
This agreement is not responsible for a failure or claim:
1.caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, alterations, or modifications made to your vehicle
2. relating to any part which is not original vehicle manufacture equipment or like replacement part
But it implies they have to show that what happened was "caused" by the modifications

do the gears man and if somethin goes wrong take it back to the same dealer u bought it from and start b!tchin that they sold you junk and if they ask you if you put gears in it play stupid and tell em that other than the cai and plenum everything is just as you bought it tell em that they sold it to you like that. new/used car dealers are a multi billion dollar industry im almost positive that they didnt do a gaer swap check before they sold it to you and if they say that evenif they sold it to you with gears and it doesnt matter they are not stock b!tch somemore till you get what you want and more than likely if you make a scene at the dealership theyll fix whats wrong.
well that wont work because the previous owner is a mechanic at the dealership i bought it from...if the tranny goes i dont think they can say it was because of the gears
do you think that id be better off just cancelling my warranty and getting my money back..it expires in 3 years, or when my car has 74k miles...do mustang typically have major problems before that or not really?
/\/\/\ not a bad idea. Get any pending issue straightened out and then get a pro rated ammount back for the unused portion of your warranty. I bought my stang at a non ford dealer too and all the waranty items I wanted to get fixed they would write off as tear and wear. So I told them p#uck the BS and give me my money back on the warranty. Stangs are solid cars and if it hasn't been abused before it should be ok.
