Air Filter
Well ive read on here a couple time about people just getting a K&N air filter and taking off the air silencer. I finally decided to go that way and save some money but my buddy keeps telling me that im going to have to get a whole intake because the air filter cant hold itself up without the silencer, but i think it will. Is what im thinking right???

i dont but its very easy to pick it out from the other parts of your car...
1.) pop your hood and on the bottom left is your air filter box conected by your rubber intake tube
2.) unstrap the lacth that holds the box and intake tube together
3.) pull the tube back and take the entire air filter and box out
4.) the grayish rubber thing that sticks out the side of the air filter box is the air silencer
5.) pull it out and put everything back together and your done
