i put a scoop off a 01 gt on my 00gt v6 lookin hood. one of the BEST appearance mods i did. somehow i ended drilling the holes a little lower than what the stock scoop is on those GT's but it came out looking awesome. Its fine at over 110 for me.

I figure if the factory speedometer then the factory hood scoop should hold up at those speeds too

well the scoop is only 250 and installation cant be as much as buying a 500 dollar hood plus installation. i rele like the look also. also if anyone can tell me. ive noticed different side scoops on many mustangs. i have the ones that are mostly flat then jet out. ive seen many where they completely stick out is this a factory product becuase i would love to purchase those.this is what the ones i want look like:

Those are the stock side scoops for GT's from 02-04.

I have a set for sale if you would be interested. $80+shipping. They are mineral gray.

I don't know, you would have to go to your local body shop to see how much they would charge for it. They charged me $60 for paint for my bullit sidescoops. Installation is extremely easy if you want to do it yourself. There are just 6 little clips on there holding each one in.
