if i have a full bolt on car ( which i will with my t/b and plenum thats on the way) and i buy a set of cams, how much hp will i gain from the cams? also what else is needed with cams? tune? timing adjustment?

 

youll need new valve springs andtune or tuner

 

Depends on the cams.

 

20-25 rwhp but will require a dyno tune and would figure you should be around 290-300 at the wheels if you have full bolts including Long Tubes.

with stage 1 cams you dont need new springs, but u will need a tune. stage ones net from 10-15whp from what i have seen. with stage 2s you need springs and a tune.

 

My Stage 1's see on average ~25 rwhp increases and can be used with stock springs. Will need a tune. My Stage 2's see about 10+rwhp more peak-to-peak. At higher RPMS, the gains will be greater. They gained 55rwhp @ 6000rpm on a stock 02GT over stock PI cams....
