Quick question if i put 19 lb injectors on a 4.6 motor what would be the diff of a 24 lb injector if any power wise.

 

someone correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure 24 lb are stock, so i would stick with them. Anything under stock is limiting the performence of the engine because it is not getting as much fuel that it needs. Driving around town might be ok, but WOT you will def see a difference.

 

19lb injectors are stock on the gts, they increase the lb rating as you increase hp. You won't need bigger injectors unless you are putting out more power. Basically if you make the car FI, you will then need to upgrade to at least 30lb injectors if you are only running like 6lbs of boost, most go higher than 30lb ones though so they can upgrade later.

 

Injectors don't make or decrease power only how much power can be made. Stock 4.6L (depending on year) comes with 19lbs injectors. If you change the injector size you have to get a tune to tell the computer that you changed them.

 

but if u have some mods culd not putting 24lb fuel injectors my ur gar bog nd run wierd
