I think i want to pull my spoiler off and see how wingless looks on my GT, you guys that pulled your spoilers off and didnt get the holes filled immediatly what did you do?

I did the same thing when I went wingless for a couple months. Get some black plugs from a hardware store or autoparts store and pick up a tube of black RTV silicone to make sure you don't get any leaks. As for size, they're about the size that hold in the trunk liner behind the tail lights.

I took the spoiler off and buffed the rings it left on the trunk, then went down the road to ACE hardware and just took different plugs out to the car until I found the right size. Only left them in for about a week before i decided i liked it and gotted them filled. You can even take touch up paint and paint the plugs to match.

I would be concerned with the silicone causing fish eyes when you get your holes filled and painted. To the OP i just went to autozone and they had some black plastic caps/plugs on their little HELP aisle that has all the random crap. I think they cost like $2. I have no leaks.

They just have those bags of random plugs at places like autozone right? I think Ill go check that out, thanks for the help everyone.

why does the whole trunk have to be painted cant u just fill the holes and get the same color code paint at the dealer?
