Default 4.6 GT exhaust

Im trying to figure out what kind of exaust to buy.

I really like flowmaster, because I had it on my old mustand but im just not sure.

I hear alot of talk about xpipe / h-pipe and i want to find out if i should go full out with the headers / h-pipe / flows.

Or does it really matter?

The part that I was interested in could be seen here on summits website:

Thanks for your help,

Adam

You need to start listening to sounds clips to see what you like. Because h and x pipes sound different. I have exhaust clips in my sig of flowmasters and a x pipe that is catted.

i am in the same boat, i had flowmasters on my truck and loved them, but i have heard from previous owners to look into magnaflow and dynomax. from what they say those do pretty well on ponys, but everyone has their own taste in sound

is there some kind of kit for the x pipe / h pipe.
That will adapt with the flowmaster kit above that I linked.
I want to do cats so it is emmisions legal.

also,
What kind of gains are we really talking about with headers vs. standard exaust manifolds.

Thanks
Adam

My personal choice is Magnapack muflers with an O/R H pipe. I heard it in person and it sounds amazing, its that deep rumblin muscle sound.

I bought mine from Summit Racing. I have a thread about the whole exhaust install. I took pictures. You can use any x pipe thats for shorty headers/stock manifolds.

Heres the thread.

I'd go Mac all the way....Pro chamber and a catback....I've had many compliments on it and anoticable HP gain. I got Manaflows on my Ranger and they have an annoying drone. These turned out perfect....nice deep rumble at low rpm's and sings when you punch it. I'm a ole fart and dont like it loud unless i'm getting on it.
