names dave and I am now officialy part of the blue oval family, lol. I just bought my first thourobred 2 days ago and she's got 90,000 miles on her. I dont know ford maintinence that well, I dont know what I need to check and I'm very afraid of breaking it. I just transfered from the Mopar side. So I need help making sure shes running strong and is ready for a long healthy life.....any suggestions guys, need help!

Where do I find these on a 2003 GT?

 

thats the wire that sits on top of the plug... what you take off to get to the plugs are the wires

 

The coil on plug(cop) I don't know about 98's and below, but 99+ don't have plug wires, plugs into the harness?

 

99-04 has COP coil on plugs...all you need is plugs no wires, oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter

 

mucho grasias! also, its a Auto tranny, and i'm hearing a lil bit of a hum, when i'm on her....also is it bad if I hear a chirp/whine(its only heard for a split second from shifting from 1st to second)........when i'm on it I autoshift and when i'm shifting out of 1st it whine/chirps.....is that a bad sign of the tranny, or the rear end or what?

 

get the trans flushed

 

well technically not flushed(not trying to be a d1ck...sorry). Get it drained and then entire new tranny fluid. Ifu take it to a shop and sak them to flush it. They just mix it around..... But also get it full serviced. And change ur spark plugs because the stock ones suck. It might be pinging when u get on it. That might be the chirp sound.

 

Actually, I think you might be wrong on this one boss. What would be the purpose of mixing upthe tranny fluid?
