Default opinions on TB and Plenum- which one?

there are so many choices for throttle bodies and plenums. does anyone have any ideas which one to get? i was thinking about getting a pro products tb and plenum, but i think that i might change my mind if someone has a better idea. are they all basically the same? i'm not exactly mr. moneybags, so when i get a part i wanna make sure i get the right one the first time. i just got a JLT CAI and so i'm focusing on the intake right now. they offer 70 and 75 mm:i figured bigger is better, but they're the same price which makes me wonder if that's right. gimme some options, or tell me which is best! thanks!

bigger is better but only if you do both. it would be pointless to get a 75mm t/b but leave the u/p stock... but since you want to do it all then yes bigger is better... as for what you want it depends on what you want to spend... american muscle sells a complete BBK setup of 75mm t/b and u/p which i think is $300 and change but then they sell an accufab combo (which are suppose to be the best) for like $420 and change... as for what you want there are plenty of posts so search

The tests have shown that Accufab comes out on top with thier combo, but its your choice if the 1 horsepower difference is worth money. Professional Products, many people have complained about the throttle blade sticking, but with an adjustment is fixed. BBK no longer sells thier plenum, its been discontinued. BBK does still however still sell thier throttlebody.A good place would be latemodelresto.com or rpmoutlet.com Many people have said RPM outlet's customer service isnt the greatest, but they have good prices and have thier own C&L plenum. As far as LMR they are a good selection to choice from anddecent prices also. Also steeda has thier dragon throttlebodys and plenums which are nice looking and have been reviewed to be as good flowing as accufab. The are however just as expensive. Finally I think if you want something thats not going to cost you an arm and a leg, but still want some bling Professional Products Polished version are priced at 239.95 is a great deal even if you have to adjusted the tps if the throttle blade sticks.
