amsoil was out first and royal purple just pretty much copied it to the limit.both are pretty much identical.

Pennzoil or "Q" (same thing) full synthetic from WalMart (with a MotorCraft 820 filter, they sell these too), change it every 2500 to 3000 miles and you'll be good for 200k easy...

I run 10W-30 in the things that use synthetic (I.e. things with less than 100k miles), and 20W-50 dino in everything else...[/align][/align]I would use 5W-20 or 0W-20 anywhere the ambient temperature is over 75F to 80F for any significant period...[/align]

Is there any particlular reason for this? What about the 2000 Model year? From the factory, they recomend 5W30, and around here, temperatures don't go anywhere near below 90* during the summer.
