i was wondering about the o/d button
i think OD OFF makes your RPM's go up bc it eliminates the 4th gear?? idk something like that... notice how when you put it in O/D when ur in like 3rd gear, the RPM's shoot up about 1000?? you're getting into ur powerband quicker. so yes race with O/D off and traction off

It keeps the trans from shifting into overdrive..and is designed to be used when under heavy throttle at higher speeds, because overdrive isnt made for wide open throttle runs. It doesn't matter. When you floor it your car will downshift to 2nd gear (or first depending on speed). Wether it is in 3rd or OD when you floor it wont make a bit of difference.
