If one has problems with Ford, Then go buy a rattling, square dash, Dump truck V8 sounding POS GMIf i wanted a fast pile of ****, i would of bought ANYTHING with an LT or LS1.

Seriously, You can make a mustang fast but you cant fix ugly.

 

camaros and firebirds are so god awful to sit in. no leg room, the dash is f***ing horrible, the seats are uncomfortable, they dont sound nearly as good, etc...

sure the mustang takes a little bit more to get as fast as a lightly modded LS1, but it looks better doing it.


either a 100 shot of juice or the budget build supercharger and you can easily hang or beat most of the birds/maros you'll ever run across on the street. its not every day you pull up to 500+ horsepower cars.

and even minor maintenance is a PITA on atleast the camaros. you ever see where the back 2 spark plugs are on those? you gotta have midget hands to get in there.

 

Uh oh, were talking crap about camaros and t/a's on a mustang site. Not allowed, according to all the LS1 fanboys on this forum. While I agree that F-bodies are crap, my friend has an 01 WS6 and it's such a cheese box, but the F-body nut swingers will be in here any minute saying how awful mustangs are and how great F-bodies are. Just a heads up.

expalin the 225 to the wheels on the auto. We lose anywhere from 18-20%. which by my calculations is aroun 210 rwhp.

 

seriously you people are just being dumb now... i had a v6 camaro before i got my stang and it was an awesome car. sure it may not be the best-built machine, but it was a hell of a lot of fun to drive and cheap to maintain (which is what really matters). i've also ridden in a couple v8 camaros and let's just say they put every other car i've ever been in to shame. f-body's are awesome cars and were the best bang for your buck that you could buy for the past 40 years.

don't get me wrong, i definately love the mustang and am glad i got it. but saying mustangs are awesome and f-bodys are piles of crap is just being ignorant. they are both amazing cars and i would gladly take either one over some cookie cutter car like a camry
