Default which would u choose?

they're about the same price so that's not a concern. i was kind've leaning towards the KB because my car is a dd and i don't really get the revs up but so high very often. but then i thought...why don't i just get a procharger and some gears? that way i can get my RPMs up faster and get into boost around the same time as i would with the KB...but it'll be even FASTER than the KB!!

discuss

im not a fan of twin screws. centri or bust imo. Kbs are cool but i wouldnt want to have boost on tap like that all the time.

I am a centri fan myself, but if you can afford a KB, I say go for it. Both blowers have their ups and downs, but the biggest deterrent of the KB is the price tag. If you ever have the intent of forging the bottom end and hitting big HP numbers like 550+rwhp, then I say neither. I'd look into a bigger hp potential blower, that way you can have your fun now and won't need to upgrade later.

I picked the Kenne Bell. It looks good, has instant torque and I got rid of my crappy plastic coolant cross-over intake.

Well incase of the KB it would kinda save him money. If he wants to make BIG numbers he will need to Dump the Plastic intake im guessing around high 500's?? KB Doesnt need one(saves 1k) and sell his his for a few hundred....

That's a good point. People forget the KB price includes the intake.

I sold my intake for 80 bucks just to get rid of it.

I have a procharger myself. I lean more toward procharger just because it's my DD right now and I can stay out of boost if I choose to do so. Looks like having a KB gets rid of a lot of piping/tubing and cleans up the engine bay quite a bit.
