hey guys, so I got my cams and heads and now need to install them, I was having someone do the install, i beleive i can do it just dont want to mess anything up and I never dont this before. I have a 2001 mustang gt bullit, do you have to drop the engine? he called me and said he read that you have to.

one of 3 ways.... Pull the engine, Drop the engine, or do it with the engine in the car. Engine in the car is a bit more of a chore getting around stuff but is my choice. If you have everything you need & somewhat mechanicly enclined, I wouldn't see any reason why you wouldn't do it yourself.

Key questions to ask yourself.
Do you know how?
Do you have all the right tools? Tq wrench, Cherry Picker, Timingwheel
Nexxt is the hardest part of everything... Do you know how to time your cams?

Isn't timing your cams, finding TDC (top dead center)?

Just curious. If so isn't there a line that marks where TDC is.

ok my questions is. the guy your having do this does he know what he's doing? because he is wanting to pull the motor out from under it then i believe he doesnt
