Is this legit?
I posted my stock wheels/tires on Craigslist for $300.
I got a LOT of interest.
Well I got this email from a guy today...
"Thanks for your reply concerning my inquiry, will you accept money order as a mode of payment?I will be offering you $50 extra to hold the item for me for a week, Please provide your full name,Address and your Phone number so that i can forward it to my Assistant to make payment to you.
When you recieve the money order, get it cashed at you bank.I want you to take the posting off craigslist today.
Best Regards."
Does this soundlegit? I've heard of people getting scammed and I just wanted to make sure I won't be one of them![/align]

^^ They did that exact scam on a TV show once.
If it's a USPS money order take it. Using the Post Office to facilitate a fraudulent transaction is a felony.

Something just doesn't seem right about this... I'm going to email him back asking for either paypal or cash. I was reading up on scams involving MO's and it's very insecuring (if that's the word).
I'm asking around more to get some more opinions. I want to figure out where this guy is if he needs an MO. Considering most people look in their local craigslist site, I can't imagine this guy would be a couple of states, or countries (lol) away.
We shall see... but I don't like the sound of this. Sounds too good to be true. Unless the guy is filthy rich and is willing to spend an extra $50 just for me to hold them.
