Texas Sucks, but Hot Rods are cool! I never thought about combining them, that would just get complicated. Kinda like dating your sister and her best friend at the same time.

If you still want the discount code let me know. And yes we all know that they have pretty slow customer service. But the cars they put out are some of the best I've seen. Tuning wise, I've yet to see anyone better.
no offense to you but my issue wasn't with slow customer service. I was told from Lizzie basically not to buy the Patriot heads from Summit Racing because they sell remanufactured heads and THR sells new heads. After forking out $1500+ to THR on a set of heads that were supposed to be new, I had issues with them and later found out through Patriot themselves that all their 2V heads are remanufactured INCLUDING the ones that THR sells. So I called THR to question them about it, left a message (with no return phone call). Then some time goes by and I send an email (with no response). Finally I decided to post a thread about what happened and what do you know, many many other peopl had issues also but never wanted to say anything because they are a site sponsor (who undoubtly makes money off of the members here, so what do WE as a forum community owe THEM?). My thread vanished (not got moved, deleted) and a couple weeks later I finally got a phone call from Brian with a bunch of excuses about how many emails and phone calls he gets, blah, blah, blah. So if you want to call being decieved/ lied to to make a purchase then being ignored after they get your money "pretty slow customer service", then go ahead. I call it sh! tty business. I have not made any threads since then about what happened nor have I spread it among the other 6 boards that I'm a member of (although I easilly could have). IMO nothing was resolved, and I feel like I have the right to voice my opinion and warn others instead of doing a cover up so they can only continue to make money off of us.

DISCLAIMER: this is MY OPINION.
Now that is a valid complaint.Yes Brian was dealing with fixing a lot of problems that needed fix. Don't get me wrong though, not taking sides here, just stating the facts. And personally I've never had any problems with any business transaction or dealing with Brain one on one. In fact in most cases, even if I just pop in he always takes the time to help me whether he's going to make any money off me at that time or not. Keep in mind though, no business is perfect and I've had problems with summit, joe heck, american muscle, GMS, and jegs before too. So it's hit or miss. But like I said, I'm not taking sides, and you have a valid complaint.

I can't say as I've ever seen a bad car come out of there either, but the one time I ordered something from them over the phone I dealt with a woman (can't remember what her name was off the top of my head). I'd ordered a synchro rebuild kit for the 3650 I had then, and they sent me parts from a used tranny, cause I could tell the parts I received already had wear on them. Then when I went to call and question this / complain about it the lady hung up on me. So I just sold those parts to a junk yard and ordered a new one from JEGS, whom I personally have never had a problem with and haven't ordered from THR since.

If as they're saying THR got rid of that lady (which I hope they have, she really phucked up their business), then maybe they're on the right track again. Cause TX could use some more good stang shops. Dallas Mustang sure isn't worth jack-****. Though in the interest of TRYING to be PC that's just my opinion..
