Default For you Procharged guys...

My piping on my P1SC hangs out the bottom. We had to cut the front bumper in order to get the bumper to slide on otherwise it would just hit against the piping. I just got my 03-04 Cobra bumper in today. I really don't want to cut it, but if I have to I will. Did you guys run into the same problem we did? I'm assuming so since this kit is universal for the 99-04. Here's some pics of my 2001 and what the piping looks like.

The cut marks are going to be covered by weather stripping soon.

The new bumper. Some water spots, but looks really good!

I know. I'm extremely careful. I park about 2 feet back from parking blocks/curbs/etc. The place where I got my tune will fabricate all new piping for me for $600. Mandrel bent, so there are no damn rubber elbows or anything restrictive. Might be an option eventually.

That's what I was thinking, but there was no other way to do it, at least that I'm aware of.

EDIT: I found this guy and it looks like he had to bend the bottom plastic flaps underneath to get it to fit. I hope there are some other people who have some idea. Thanks in advance.

The speed shop who installed mine had to do the same thing, though I don't think mine hangs down quite as far as yours. I haven't had any probs with it bottoming out or anything, but I'm very cautious of it.

I talked to procharger about this. I just cut some off the rubber 90 that goes upward to the intercooler so it would slide on there farther and pick the pipe up. I have the 03-04 cobra bumper on mine as well and didn't have to cut anything.

I did, and my buddy went through it with a 97 cobra. I guess some of the rubber bends are longer than others. I just cut a couple of inchs off and the problem was solved. Been on there for almost 3 years and haven't blown a pipe off yet.
