Default Compression difference: stock tips vs. dumps

[sm=wootwoot.gif]So I had dumps on my 40 series for a couple weeks and loved the deep loud sound. I then put on my stock tips that are 2 1/4" i believe. The shop said that I would have better torque with the stock tips since there would be different compression. There is a significant difference in sound, but does anyone know the power difference in stock tips vs. 2 1/2" dumps. I'm tempted to change back.
