i was gonna go with some sumo's myself but everyone says they don't have any traction. i don't see how they would be any different from any other brand of tire though [sm=wtf.gif]

a sumi is a good street tire but not good for the track the reason why they are different than a nitto or a kdw is the rubber compund that they use to make it

I have that same tire and size. I had 275's then went to 315's HTR-Z. I say it improved my traction for street driving. I used them at the track once and even though they were better, i will stick to the 555R's for the track. I would get them again plus they look bad a$$.

I have the 315's and they are not the best track tire but I've had tires twice as expensive that road worse. I have 275's in the front and 315's in the back. ZERO road whine.

I've got 275 40 17 front and 315 35 17 back Sumitomo's on my '99 GT and I love them.
So far they have been a great tire.

I have 315's in the back and they're a pretty good tire all around. They ride nice, quiet, look good, and seem to last, but they are crap for traction, I think the stock goodyears even had better traction.

I had them for a bit. If you plan on giving the car any gas then look elsewhere.

Ditto to the above.... you'll spin the tires like they are nothing!
