Well, the engine swap started yesterday. I got it down to the starter and motor mounts and called it a day. Today I started at 2pm and started wrenching. The mounts and starter took about a half hour and the the pulling began! The pass side dowell was a little rusted, so it took a little persuasion, but it came out without too much fuss. The rest of the day was installing the throwout bearing and removing the necessary parts off the old engine. Anyways, enough babble, here are the pics. Tomorrow is dedicated to getting the new engine prepped and maybe even dropping it in. Well see depends on how far I get the new engine.

 

sick...........[8D] nows a good time to swap out those headers and clean that engine bay real good. maybe spice up the valve covers with some paint??

Yeah, the new engines goin in with JBA shortys. CA smog laws FTL, other wise there'd be a set of LTs. I'm also planning on spraying the whole engine compartment with degreaser.

 

Its actually the Trick Flow Track Heat and sorry but its going back on.

 

O damn brain fart... i was thinkin u where the one swaping the termi motor in!! my bad. i guess i should have looked at the pic with the cam showing in the header lol
