You can get something called an easy out (which is not really easy) and what it requires is that you drill a hole thru the screw, insert the easy out, and twist it out.

Its not really going to be an easy job, if yuor not real familar with mechanical stuff I would suggest bellying up and having a mechanic remove the screw for you. Might cost 50/100 bucks, but its pretty easy to get an easy out etc off center and screw up your tapped hole.

no go to sears they have u socket set that has teeth in it that dig into the bolt head and remove it....the only problem you would have is if it rips the head off then you have to drill it out

see what a machinist will charge you if you've never delt with tihs before. they shouldnt charge more than 20 bucks for 1 simple screw like htat. if you were down here my buddy could have it out in about 5 seconds (he's sheet metal). no way i would pay 50 or 100$ to get one little screw out unless it was a head screw or something.

i wouldn't spend 20 for them to remove a screw! spend the money on the tools to remove it

Get a dremel, make a straight slot on the screw for a flathead screwdriver. easy enough.

If you want to do it the complicated way, weld a rod on the end and then use vice grips to twist the rod and extract the screw.
