Yeah, thats what it seems like at first. You'll get used to it really fast.

i got it..i feel kinda dumb...the socket i was using had cracked...i got the first 3 off just fine im not sure what happened with the last one...its ok now. took it for a trial run after install. its definately a lot different than the stock shifter. the throws shorter but it seems to take more effort to shift into gear...is this normal?
[/align][/align]That's just plain ol' mechanical advantage--you can't shorten the throw without having it require more effort, fundamental principals of leverage at work...[/align]
