Well my rear tires are shot. They are near the point where its dangerous to drive on them. Between a broken exhaust rubbing on them, to having a slow leak, and of cours a heavy pedal foot they gotta go. The thing is i want to take this time to upgrade my wheels to to 17x9 chrome saleens. My question is my neighbor can get me falken tires for $90. Should i do this or get nitto drag radials in the rear and resue my frtont tires. Also can i even reuse them? Theyre 245s. Uh, how about getting that broken exhaust fixed first. I voted for the DR's.

 

it was fixed, about a year ago, now its just turndowns after the mufflers

 

+1 on the exaust and id go with nittos all the way around. thats what im getting when my bridgestone potenzas are shot.

 

I put 4new 245/55/17 Nitto's on my car and I like the way it rides. Can't beat the price of the Nitto's either.

Haha yea, but if i do the 4.10s then i have a feeling i'll regret it when the tires blow out on the highway... Looks like im going with the DRs. Anybody know if the 245 width will be a problem on a 9 in wide rim?

Definately go 275/35/18 or 275/40/18 in the back, if not all the way around.

The 275/40/18 will be overall 1inch taller but will cushion the road more.

 

yeah don't go with the 245. go atleast 275
