Default eliminator question

So I just installed my longtubes with an O/R H and I didnt have the MIL eliminators for the rear o2 sensor, so i just connected them back up. I thought my CEL would pop up but it hasent gone off. Whats the deal? Does this mean that I could pass emissions without the eliminators?

i wouldnt go through inspection with out the MIL while the CEL did not pop up it is only a matter of time. my dad taught me that trick on his g/f acura that u disconnect the battery for 30seconds and it tricks the computer into thinking there is nothing wrong. but sooner or later the CEL will come on.

Disconnecting the battery also resets all of the emissions sensors and they need to run through all their tests again. Without them running through their tests you will fail, even if there is no CEL on.
