Default Anybody install shorties??

I'm thinking about getting a set of BBK shorty headers. I hear from a lot of people here that longtubes can be a real PITA to install, anybody know how difficult a set of shorties are?

Just go with the LT's I did not drop the member but it still sucked. If you don't have the money for the shortened mid pipe required for Lt's then get shorties, but i regret not doing lt's. On american muscle it has install instructions for the bbk shorties if you want to look there.

If you're gonna go through the trouble of even doing an aftermarket header install go with LT's.
It's going to be just about the same trouble.

I would go with L/Ts, but I plan on eventually getting a Hellion twin turbo kit, so it would be a bit of a waste of cash, but the kit, from what I can tell, is designed to hook up to factory manifolds or aftermarket shorties.

i only installed my lt's but i would guess its probably the same pita. Its not really the length thats a pain its tring to reach up in tht little space and put ont nut at a time on and to tighten them u gotta turn 3,000 times because u can only turn the wrench 1/16th of a turn everytime. So like most other people are saying id say if ur going to do it go with lt's. And as for the kit it comes with the backwards facing headers no? i kno a lot of the TT kits ilooked athad like backwards shorties and they hooked the turbos directly to the collectors. like this....

It is, the system will work with either an NA car or can be set up on a termi cobra without removing the blower
