Yes they will, my car started and ran for a few miles after I put my CAI on and forgot to plug it in. It ran like **** but it definatly ran.

thanks for the info guys. it's kind of a buck, but feels more like a trailer pull.
00blackstang. no cars will even start, let alone run without the MAF plugged in.

i've tried starting three seperate cars with no MAF plugged in and they were all a no-go. maybe you got lucky, but it doesn't happen often.
david, have you bought any diapers and bottles yet?
brian, yes you are right
anyone else have any ideas?
switch out the front 02s with the rears... The rears actually dont do much at all except for keeping tabs on the cats... its the fronts that really screw things up when they go bad.

This might be kind of obvious, but my car bogs down when I leave T/C on and spin the wheels (duh). You sure youre not spinning the tires and having tc activate? I dont know figure Id throw it out there lol...

my car does this too, but only on hot days. usally it does it when i hear my cooling fans are on. just my .02, if we can figure out what is causing this it would help me too.

well, i just changed my plugs and it's still bogging. maybe the o2s? are front and rear o2s excatly the same, and all i have to do is switch them? it's that easy?
I honestly don't think your O2's are to blame, at all.. Regardless though, an O2 sensor is a type of thermometer, in a matter of speaking.. Cleaning them is about as useful as taking a dump without toilet paper..How's your gas mileage??
Do you have a K&N, or have you checked your air filter for debris?? It almost sounds like you may have a vacuum leak, but normally idle would be affected by it.. You may want to check your COPs for resistance with a decent Volt meter.. I don't know their threshold, but I'm sure someone on here knows off-hand...
