I need a little help diagnosing some problems I am having with my 01 GT. First, check engine light is NOT on and does not come on at all when my problems occur. Second, I have already replaced IAC valve and TPS. After I drive my car for a few minutes and it warms up, it begins to idle a lot higher than normal (2,000 RPM) and it doesn't come back down for a while. When it does come back down, the car sputters and does not idle smoothly. Other times, I can be driving down the road and the car will sputter for a second, then just stall out of nowhere. I can reset the computer and the car will run fine again for a few minutes then begin to act up again. I have no idea what the hell is going on andI don't want to take it to a Ford dealership so I was hoping that someone might have an idea of what my problem is. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
