well I have about 5 hours into it just taking my time after work. springs are in and 1 cam the motor was very clean inside happy to see that.

Good luck with the rest of the install.Where did you get the spring compressor from? Also did you use a cam holding tool to degree the cams or is there another way to do it without it?

You have alot more patience then I do. I would have pulled the engine to do that, I hate small tight spaces (unless they are warm and wet). I almost pulled the engine to swap the valve covers when I couldnt get the stupid stud in but my friends kept me calm and they got it in.

everything has gone smooth , its just a slow and tedious process. I bought the tool from advanced they ordered it for me. I did not need a tool to hold the cams they have a place on the cams to hold them with a wrench. everything is done except the valve covers and cop's plugs etc. will update pictures tomorrow and hopefully a sound clip. I am ready to hear it rumble. to anyone who is thinking of doing their its not that hard just take your time and get a friend to help you out.degreeing them was a small challenge but hopefully worth it.

I will be doing my head and cam swap in a few weeks.. I hope it goes this smooth. You make it sound easy.

congrats. Hitechs's have awesome gains, you shouldreally enjoy them once you get it tuned.

Doug from Bama chips made me a custom tune for all my mods including the new cams for my sct I just bought from him. I hope that tune works well will keep you all posted.
