Default Exhaust Tips

I have been shopping around for exhaust tips and would like a little input. Right now I have the Pypes 3 1/2" tips (not sure if chrome, brushed, or what). They are a pain to keep clean and shiny and right now they just look a lengthdirty water pipe. Has anyone else had this problem with thier tips? Is this a problem we will always have with our tips?

I want to go to a 3 1/2" rolled tip like these at MRT. Don't know if I should go with the chrome or brushed? Which is going to be the easiest to keep clean and shiny?

Curtis, would you please PM me after you get them on? I am also looking for nice tips as I like my current exhaust set up otherwise.

I have looked at those summit tips too. Due to the outside interior inlet size being only 2.5", these tips would have to be welded on instead of clamped.

I have just a couple of questions with them though. Our stock tips, as well as my Pypes tips, have a support bracket they connect to at the rear bumper. Obviously the summit tips don't have that, so what is the likelyhood that these tips will shake around in the cutouts in the bumper? Also will the stainless steel corrode and look nasty like my polished Pypes tips?

Most people will have a muffler shop weld on the support when they get their tips welded on.

A little heads up on keeping the tips looking new, especially if you have an O/R midpipe.....Buy some polish called Brasso, it is like a miracle cleaner for exhaust tips!!! No joke!! It's unbelievable how well it works!! Wipe it on and wipe it off and it looks like brand new!

....oh and rolled>cut ....rolled tips you can actually see from a distance from behind, whereas cut is just your generic pick-up truck tip, of course just a personal opinion.
